You matter too and you should not forget that
Us givers have to be mindful to protect our peace
We are so accustomed to feeding into others
While helping them grow and being their peace
I promise if you gave that same energy to yourself
You’d be in such a better place mentally
I know it’s hard because your heart is so pure
But you must water yourself just as instinctively
You are deserving of giving yourself that same love
The kind of love that is unconditional and on time
Being able to water your own seed is vital
You can’t dwell in helping the growth of others
But you can help others while being equally yoked
Put yourself first for a change
You deserve the love you put out
And don’t stop loving you
You need you more than anything without a doubt
